Preparing your Ceremony

Planning a wedding can be stressful, but it doesn’t have to be. My clients often thank me for providing a warm and friendly, professional service and for the additional guidance I offered.

For Clients living on or near the Gold Coast, I always encourage an initial meeting to ensure they have an opportunity to “check me out” and decide whether or not they would feel comfortable with me as their Celebrant.  (If you are unable to meet with me, feel free to phone or email me to discuss your requirements. It will usually take only a minute or so of conversation to figure out if we click or not.)

Once a Client decides to book with me, I will provide them with an Information Package containing the necessary forms and other useful information to make the planning process easier and to assist with designing and keeping track of their wedding plans.

Clients will be offered a sample ceremony to help put their ceremony into perspective, along with a large range of written ceremony examples to choose from, or to use as inspiration.

Take some time to peruse this information together and discuss any readings or alternatives that you would like to incorporate into your ceremony.  We can then tailor the words for your ceremony, ensuring that it compliments you as a couple. It is important that the words spoken on your special day reflects your personalities and the style of ceremony that you are after.  Your guests will also enjoy a ceremony containing words that they can connect with.

I offer and recommend a rehearsal.  This will give us an opportunity to talk and walk through your special day and will hopefully ease any nervousness or anxiety that you may be feeling.

To ensure you remember the words that were spoken, I will provide you with a copy of your ceremony as a keepsake of your special day and a beautifully presented Certificate of Marriage.  If requested, I can also provide a Certificate of Appreciation for each member of your bridal party.

Additional equipment is also available, including a portable and wireless Mipro PA system, CD player, MP3 player auxiliary audio input (MP3 player and cable not provided), and a registry table and chair for signing the legal paperwork, if required.

My services are covered by Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
